# QA Engineer

Your friends may think you're kind of anal-retentive. They sit you down to ask why you obsess over the details most people don't even notice. But maybe they just quite get you. You're a QA engineer, damn it. And you love to torture the rest of the engineering team (in the most loving way possible).

You:

• Care deeply about great product experiences. You fight for the user.
• Love working in an agile environment and thrive in moments of ambiguity.
• You're totally unafraid to challenge assumptions — especially your own.
• Obsess over cross-browser, cross-device testing. [Insert your favorite viewing experience here] is not enough.
• Understand the value of meticulous reports with screenshots, videos, error messages, and detailed reproduction steps.
• Know a thing or two about creating detailed test plans, cases, and scenarios. 
• Ideally have some experience with git and continuous integration environments (such as Jenkins, CI Joe, etc.).
• May have experience with experience optimization (A/B and multivariate testing), web app stacks (i.e. MVC frameworks, version control, etc.), development and debugging, profiling, and unit testing. All big pluses.

If you're a persistent, tenacious, and eagle-eyed at spotting issues and unintentional deviations from spec; have experience in deep, creative QA testing methodologies; love developing automated testing processes for all kinds of clients (including mobile); can effectively communicate with technical team members; and write thorough, well-researched reports, you're our kind of people.
